Community Health Options is the new administrator for CarePartners, MaineHealth’s program providing free or low-cost healthcare for low-income, uninsured adults. The new partnership allows members of CarePartners to continue to access comprehensive low-cost healthcare through MaineHealth’s network of providers, hospitals, case management and prescription assistance.
Your guide to coverage & care
Maine's newest free outdoor gym is opening at the University of Maine at Farmington (UMF). This is the third Fitness Court® in Maine, thanks to a partnership between Community Health Options and National Fitness Campaign (NFC).
When it comes to healthcare, Maine gets high marks for its quality of care. The trouble is, it’s getting harder for Mainers to access that care.
Our 2023 Annual Report highlights how Community Health Options is expanding access to healthcare services, whether by adding providers to our behavioral health network, introducing virtual primary care on all plans, offering a new wellness platform or finding ways to trim out-of-pocket costs.
Let's face it. No one needs to remind us that it can be a little rough out there.
Mainers, of course, are famous for their grit and for having each other’s backs in tough times. And while that’s true, healing takes time and it’s OK to need help, whether following a violent event, a natural disaster, a personal loss, or something else. Most important, when life comes at you hard, remember to be patient with yourself and to stay connected with those around you.
